Covid-19 Community Outreach

Choose from the following ways to help our community during this time of crisis.
1. Food Pantry Drop-Off – Non-perishable items are still in great need.
United Ministries – 606 Pendleton Street, Greenville, SC from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Monday-Friday.
Please leave your name, address, and phone number so that donations can be acknowledged. Please call 864-232- 6463 so staff members will know to retrieve it.
Triune Mercy Center – Drop off’s can be made Monday and Wednesday from 9:00 AM -11:00 AM,
Saturday 9:00 AM to noon, Sunday 10:00 AM to noon at 222 Rutherford Street.
Samaritan House – Drop off’s can be made at the Tan House on our Trinity Campus Tuesday –
Thursday from 8:00 AM to noon.
Harvest Hope – Drop off’s can be made Monday – Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM at 2818 White
Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611
2. United Ministries Place of Hope – Place of Hope needs volunteers from 8:00 – 11:00 Monday
through Friday. Volunteers hand our hygiene supplies and sign in participants for showers. During the pandemic, only a few participants are allowed in the building at a time. All volunteers, staff and participants are required to wear masks. Please email cwinkler@unitedministries.org if you want to learn more about this opportunity.
3. United Ministries Employment Readiness Program Needs Male Drivers – United Ministries has a long-standing strategic partnership with Miracle Hill’s Overcomers program. We provide employment, education, and financial coaching for all Overcomers. Since these men do not have personal vehicles, a Miracle Hill volunteer shuttles them to United Ministries in the morning, and a UM volunteer shuttles them back their facility on North Pleasantburg Dr. at 12:00 PM. We are looking for volunteers who would be willing to be available to drive the shuttle at least one day each week. Please email awarren@united-ministries.org for questions or to volunteer.
4. Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) Families – If you are able and willing to assist with
helping a family move or helping us restock houses with donations, please let us know. We will
add you to our “UM Moving Day Team”. We will send an email to the team as soon as we
know that we have a need – a day and a time. No one is expected to be able to help with every
move. Please email nzeiset@united-ministries.org for more information. IHN is also in need of
gift cards for grocery stores and toilet paper and cleaning supplies.
5. Donate Blood or Plasma, especially if you have recovered from Covid-19. Contact The Blood Connection for more information.
6. Pray – Please continue to pray for all those affected by Covid-19 as well as our heroic
medical workers!
