Gifts to the Endowment are Enduring...

An Endowment Fund is like an artesian well. It never runs dry. The income the fund generates is used to meet the purposes of the endowment. For example, let’s say you contribute an undesignated gift to the Fund that can be used for mission projects or educational scholarships. Once established, the endowment will generate earnings to make annual grants. Years from now, participants in mission projects or scholarship recipients will continue to benefit from your prudent planning and generosity.

The BSUMC Endowment Fund continues to touch the lives of many and further Christ’s work in our church, our community and around the world. Projects made possible by the Endowment include improvements to our buildings and grounds, missions, family activities, children’s ministries, scholarships, church enrichment programs, and more.
