At Buncombe Street, we have a multitude of events throughout the year centered around our values and our vision to engage, equip and empower followers of Jesus. We hope you will join us as we spend time together both inside and outside of our walls and seek to grow His Kingdom.

Meet the Artist - The Shell Gallery

Lou Ellen Beckham Davis returns to our Fall and Winter Art Show in Shell Gallery (Truluck Room) beginning October 4 and running through February 28, 2027. Her new show is Lou Ellen Beckham Davis–New Works. Lou Ellen will be available to greet guests in the Shell Gallery on Sunday, October 4 immediately after the 11:00 AM services. Her art will be available for sale while the work is on display.
The Feast of All Saints

All Saints Day

Please join the Chancel Choir and Pastor Lonnie for an Evensong to commemorate The Feast of All Saints on Sunday, November 1, at 5 p.m. This liturgical service of scripture, Psalms, hymns, and homily will be a special time of remembering those who are asleep in Christ. We will read the names of our departed friends and loved ones at a special time in the service. You are asked to submit the names of your deceased loved ones to Jessica Elstun or submit a form here before October 28, 2026.
Walk for Water

Walk for Water

Water Mission’s Walk for Water is a unique event where you can walk in the shoes of our global neighbors as you raise awareness and funds to fight the global water crisis. Water Missions vision is that all people have safe water and an opportunity to experience God’s love.
Join our Buncombe Street Walk for Water Team! This is a family friendly event!
Saturday, November 7, 2026. The event opens at 9:00 AM and the walk begins at 10:00 AM at Furman University, 3300 Poinsett Highway, Greenville, SC 29613.

Surviving the Holidays

More than just practical tips, GriefShare Surviving the Holidays is a community of people who know what it’s like to walk through the season in grief. You will find connection and comfort knowing that you are not alone during the holidays. Susannah Pittman will be leading this workshop on Wednesday, November 4th from 6:00 PM – 7:45 PM and Monday, November 9th from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM. Click HERE to register or on the image above. Upcoming 2026-2027 Mission Trips

Mobile medical clinic in DR

Dominican Republic Mission Trip

This fall, travel to Jarabacoa, Dominican Republic (November 4–11, 2026) to serve alongside Mission of Hope. The primary focus is a mobile medical clinic, but non-medical volunteers are needed too, including those who love working with kids and families. Open to ages 12 & up. Cost is $1404 / person.

Guatemala Mission Trip<br />

Guatemala Mission Trip

In early 2027, the Men's Ministry Mission Trip heads to Guatemala (February 13–20) to partner with Engadi Ministries. The trip includes a construction project, a family festival with the Engadi kids, and a cultural day. Open to men ages 18 & up. Trip cost is $850/person.
