Children’s Ministry

Our children’s activities aren’t just limited to Sunday mornings! We offer various other activities to help our kids learn about what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

Volunteering with children’s ministry is crucial for shaping the future of our church, as it nurtures young hearts and minds, instilling in them the values and teachings of our faith.

Our Sprouts program is where our 4th and 5th graders participate in covenant discipleship groups. Throughout the school year, children learn about missions and outreach, and practice their discipleship by going out into the community and helping those in need, just as Jesus did.

Basketball season at Buncombe Street is filled with fun and the spiritual growth of our players. We make it a priority that each player will receive plenty of playing time, make new friends, learn how to be a team player, learn how to both win and lose, and most of all, grow in their spiritual journey with God.

Registration for basketball begins in August and games start in November. 

In the winter, our Children’s Choir begins practicing. The Choir is open to kids ages 3k - 5th grade, and practice on Sunday afternoons at the church.

During the school year on special Sundays, they help us lead worship with their joyful noise!
