Don't Let The Enemy Have A Seat At Your Table

In today’s busy world, we may often find our minds spinning out of control with fear, worry, and doubt. These thoughts are not of God who asks us to rest in Him. Using Louie Giglio’s book and videos, “Don’t Give the Enemy a Seat at Your Table: It’s Time to Win the Battle of Your Mind”, we will discover how to break free from the chains of negative thinking and experience true freedom from unhealthy thoughts and emotions. In this 6-week study, join us as we will go deep into Psalm 23 as a framework to offer biblical insight on how to tame our thoughts and restore peace and rest in our life. Please note – we will not meet on Wednesday 3/18 due to Greenville County Schools spring break.

DCD Bible Study

Luke’s Acts picks up where the Gospels leave off—showing how a fearful group of disciples became bold witnesses who spread the Gospel across the world. Without this book, the explosive growth of the early church would remain a mystery. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Dennis E. Johnson offers clear, insightful guidance through this powerful narrative, revealing how Jesus’ promise in Acts 1:8 came to life: “You will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth.” This study is facilitated by Wes Few at his office. Order your participant book here.

M&M Breakfast Club

Men in their 40s and 50s are invited to join us on Friday mornings at 7:00 AM at Carolina Drive-In to pursue deeper faithfulness with Eugene Peterson’s classic work, A Long Obedience in the Same Direction: Discipleship in an Instant Society. Since Eugene Peterson first wrote this spiritual formation classic more than forty years ago, hundreds of thousands of Christians have been inspired by its call to deeper discipleship. As a society, we are still obsessed with the immediate, but Peterson’s time-tested prescription for discipleship remains the same―a long obedience in the same direction.
