B-Street Small Groups

A small group is a community of Jesus followers walking together to grow and share the love of Christ. Small groups provide a scripture-based approach to growing God’s kingdom and supporting believers in their faith walk.

Groups meet at the church, various offsite locations, and in people’s homes. Throughout the year, we have 3 sessions with breaks in between. There is a 4-week signup period before each session starts.

Fall Session: September – November
Spring Session: Feb – Late April
Summer Session: June – Early August

Small Groups Mondays

Senior Pastor’s Bible Study: "Profoundly Christian, Distinctly Methodist”

Join Pastors Lonnie and Susannah Pittman for a 10 week exploration of the theological and doctrinal foundations of the Methodist faith. Through daily readings, personal reflection, and weekly discussion, you’ll deepen your understanding of what it means to live as a faithful disciple of Jesus.

Feeding the Soul

Revisit Seasons 1–5 of The Chosen in this nine-session recap designed to prepare for Season 6, The Chosen: Crucifixion. Whether you’ve missed a season or seen every episode, you’ll fill in gaps, discuss what you’ve learned, and connect the story along the way. No preparation is required, and an optional fellowship dinner at a nearby restaurant will be available each week.

Jewish Roots In The Christian Faith: The Covenants Series

Study God’s Covenants and Their Fulfillment: Jewish Roots in the Christian Faith and discover how God’s covenants with Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, and the New Covenant through Jesus form one unified story of redemption. Historical context, Jewish cultural insights, Hebrew word studies, Scripture, and practical application will deepen your understanding of God’s faithfulness throughout the Bible.

In Church As It Is In Heaven

Men and women of all ages are invited to this virtual study of “In Church as It Is in Heaven” by Jamaal Williams and Timothy Jones. Together, we’ll explore how the church can cultivate a multiethnic Kingdom culture and consider what that culture can look like in our own community.

What Does It Mean to be Chosen?

Journey through “Luke in the Land with” author Kristi McLelland as you explore the Gospel of Luke within its first-century setting. Video footage and teaching from places including Bethlehem, the Sea of Galilee, Gethsemane, Jerusalem, and the road to Emmaus will help you better understand Jesus and the world He encountered.

God-Fellas

God-Fellas is a men’s Bible study focused on growing in faith through God’s Word, prayer, service, and encouragement. This fall, the group will study “Wild at Heart” by John Eldredge, exploring God’s design and purpose for men as spiritual leaders, husbands, fathers, and friends. Men at every stage of their faith journey are welcome.

DCD Bible Study

Deepen your walk with Christ through a continued study of Dennis E. Johnson’s Let’s Study Acts. Explore how the risen Jesus continued His work through the Holy Spirit, empowering His disciples and the church to spread the gospel. Together, we’ll consider our own role in Christ’s continuing mission to grow His Kingdom.
