Women’s Spring Dinner: April 29

Join us for a special evening of fellowship and inspiration at our Women’s Spring Dinner on April 29! Our guest speaker, April Barksdale, will share her powerful story of transformation and how Kairos played a pivotal role in her journey. Now dedicating her career to supporting those impacted by trauma, substance abuse, and incarceration, she will offer insight, encouragement, and hope. Come be uplifted and reminded of the power of redemption and restoration! Tables of 7 and individual tickets are available. Doors will open at 6:00 PM.

About Our Speaker

April Barksdale is a dynamic speaker, and advocate With a deep passion for transforming lives, she has dedicated her career to supporting individuals and families impacted by trauma, substance use, and incarceration. Her work is deeply rooted in personal experience, and this fuels her passion for helping others pick up the broken pieces of their lives and reclaim their rightful place in the world. She is an alumna of Wheaton College’s Billy Graham Institute for Correctional Ministry and remains an active volunteer with her church and various agencies across the Upstate of South Carolina. She is also the author of 31 Days and a Wake Up: My Journey Back to Freedom, a powerful account of resilience and transformation. April currently resides in Simpsonville, SC, with her husband, Bernard, and their beloved Schi-Chi, Gizmo. Together, they share a blended family of five adult children and 4 grandchildren.
