Women’s Kairos Prison Ministry: May 2-5

The women’s Kairos Prison Ministry Team is organizing now for its Four Day Weekend #34 at Leath Correctional Institution in Greenwood, SC. Buncombe Street has members who serve on the Leath Kairos team, and we encourage others to join us in this life changing  ministry which inspires the lives of both inmate participants and team members. The purpose of Kairos is to share the love, grace and mercy of Christ by answering His call to visit those in prison.

The Four Day Weekend will be May 2 through May 5.

Team formation meetings to prepare for #34 weekend will be held at:
Main Street United Methodist Church
211 Main St.
Greenwood, SC 29646.

The meetings will be held on the following dates:
March 9 & 23: 9:00 – 4:00 each Saturday
April 6 & 20: 9:00 – 4:00 each Saturday
May 2: Thursday before the weekend begins on Friday.

Team Formation consists of 34 – 36 hours of training. Team members must complete 75% of the hour requirement but everyone is highly encouraged to attend all sessions.
