The Alzheimer’s Association is pleased to offer assistance to help family caregivers of dementia to attend the Teepa Snow 2023 Workshop in Greenville. This “Sitter Service” is separate from the Alzheimer’s respite voucher program offered by the Area Agency on Aging.
In order to qualify and receive assistance the family caregiver will need to complete a Sitter Service application with the Alzheimer’s Association, SC Chapter. Applications can be requested by contacting Sam Wiley at (864) 622-0573, or by email at swiley@alz.org Once the application is received and approved the family caregiver will receive an award letter that can be used to make arrangements for in-home care in order to attend the workshop.
