‘Better When Balanced’ on August 8: Register now!

The earliest phase of adulthood is an exciting time. It can also be overwhelming and stress-filled. The BSUMC Bridge Ministry presents Better When Balanced, a two-part guest speaker event at the Downtown Campus on Sunday, August 8 for those 18-24 and parents.
Milt Lowder, licensed counseling psychologist and Clemson University sports psychologist, will host 2 separate (FREE) sessions: 2:00 PM for young adults and 4:30 PM for parents. Dr. Lowder will focus on balancing day-to-day life at this age amidst various pressures and harsh realities. Young Adults are encouraged to bring friends to this impactful event and leave with small group resources to take back home or back to campus with you.

Milt Lowder, Ph.D. is the founder and CEO of AMPLOS. Dr. Lowder, a licensed counseling psychologist, completed his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Development from the University of Kentucky. Dr. Lowder works with individuals, teams, and corporations by building encouraging, collaborative relationships with each client and organization to maximize their performance in all aspects of their lives. He helps his clients develop and implement practical strategies to create the best version of themselves.
Dr. Lowder serves as the Sport Psychologist for the Clemson University Athletic Department, where he works with student-athletes, teams, and coaches to improve their performance and assist them as they deal with the pressures of college athletics and life. Dr. Lowder is married with three children and lives in Greenville, SC. Dr. Lowder enjoys spending quality time with his family, playing and attending sporting events, and the outdoors.
