Navigating Grief: Seminars on December 8 & 15
Join us for a meaningful seminar designed for adults navigating the complex emotions of grief and loss on Sunday, December 8 during the Sunday School hour (10:00 – 10:50 AM) in Memorial Chapel. We will hear from experienced professionals from the Greenville Counseling Center as they offer practical tools, compassionate support, and Biblical insights to help you process grief in a healthy, faith-centered way. Whether you’re seeking guidance for yourself or looking to support a loved one, this seminar provides a safe space to reflect, heal, and find hope.
Loss related to mental health challenges is one of the most difficult experiences for surviving family members and friends, often leaving them to navigate complex emotions, unanswered questions, and feelings of isolation. The journey of grief often begins with asking courageous questions like, “Why?” “Where is God in all of this?” and “How do we move forward from here?” Dan Kirkpatrick, Director of Grief Resources and Education at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, will facilitate a meaningful discussion to explore these, and other questions related to loss and mental health on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM in the Chapel.
