Kairos Prison Ministry Cookie Bake: Drop off cookies by October 4!

We have a team of six dedicated volunteers with Kairos Prison Ministry headed to Perry Correctional on October 5-8. Each volunteer is responsible for providing 75 dozen cookies (totaling 5,400 cookies!) in order for each inmate to receive one, and we need your help! Please consider baking a few dozen and spend time praying over them as a way to shine God’s love over the prisoners and staff during this weekend. Drop cookies off at the church anytime between October 1-4.*Please be sure to deliver cookies by 12:00 PM on October 4.  Click here to learn more and sign up for a baking slot.

Instructions:

1. Cookies can be made ahead of time and frozen.

2. Cookies should be 2 to 2.5 inches in diameter, no larger and no thicker than .5 / inch

3. Cookies cannot be frosted / coated, no sugar, powdered sugar, no sprinkles or decorations

4. Package cookies in shoeboxes, pizza boxes, Christmas gift boxes (or shirt boxes), similar sized boxes lined with wax paper. Do NOT use aluminum foil.

5. Do not package cookies in Ziploc bags!
