Holy Week: April 10-17

Join us in the week leading up to Easter Sunday for any of the below events.

On Palm Sunday, children are invited to grab a palm on their way into any of our services. At our 11:00 Traditional Worship in the Downtown Sanctuary, the BSUMC Children’s Choir will be singing. All kids are invited to be a part of the processional at the beginning of this service with their palms.

We will have a Maundy Thursday worship service on Thursday, April 14 at 7:00 PM at our Trinity Campus. We look forward to celebrating communion by intinction, but individual communion elements will be available for those who prefer them. Childcare will be provided.

On Good Friday, we invite you to be a part of our multimedia Journey to the Cross experience. Click below to see all the details and materials you will need to start and plan your journey.

Rain or shine, join us at 10:00 AM for a morning of fun (indoor) Easter activities! We’re moving to our rain plan indoors at our Trinity Campus:

Easter Egg Hunt: in the Trinity Fellowship Hall
Petting Zoo: Under the picnic shelter by the playground outside
Face-painting & Easter Crafts: in the Trinity Fellowship Hall following the Egg Hunt
Storytime: in the Trinity Sanctuary

Kona Ice will serve snocones under the portico covered entry by the playground from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. You can access their truck for a snocone through the building.

On April 16 at 7:00 PM in our Downtown Campus Memorial Chapel, the Music and Arts ministry will sponsor a Holy Saturday Recital with Boston Lyric Opera Soprano Tamra Grace Jones. Tamra’s program, Were You There, is an Easter concert of Bach & Spirituals. The concert is presented free of charge.
