Epworth Foster Care Information Session

May is National Foster Care Month, and there is an urgent need for both foster parents and church support for foster families in South Carolina. When you open your home and your heart you will provide one (or more) of these children with a safe place they can call home and create a sense of belonging during their time of need.

On Sunday, May 16, at 12:00 PM, we will offer a Foster Care Information Session in the Truluck Room of the Downtown Campus.

This session will offer detailed information about fostering as well as how Epworth works with United Methodist Churches throughout the state to develop networks of support for our foster families. From resource closets, meals, items needed for new placements, parents’ night out programs, prayers and help with birthdays and Christmas, churches step in to help ease the process in any way possible for the foster family experience.

A box lunch will be provided for attendees and their children.

Childcare for ages four and under will be available with registration.
