Choral Evensong: May 21

Our next Choral Evensong will be on Sunday, May 21 at 5:00 PM in the Downtown Campus Sanctuary. An Evensong is a reflective service of canticles, prayers, hymns, readings and choral music, and this one is in celebration of the Ascension of our Lord. This service will be about 45 minutes in length and feature Buncombe Street’s Chancel Choir and Director of Music Vance Jenkins, members of the Christ Church Episcopal Parish Choir, and guest organist Donald Duncan, Director of Music and Liturgy at Christ Church. There will be a reception afterwards in the Orders Parlor.
