Shell Gallery Fall Art Show: Cleo Wofford Crank

Our 2021 Fall Art Show in the Shell Gallery in the Truluck Room features work from local artist, Cleo Wofford Crank. Cleo’s work features an array of styles, ranging from oils, watercolors, and pastels of varying sizes.

Greenville native and retired high school teacher Cleo Crank has been interested in art her entire life, having studied at the University of South Carolina and most recently in the studio of Greenville artist, Julia Peters. When she and husband, Billy Crank, built their new home in Hollingsworth Park, she included an in-house studio to work on her passion of creating beautiful works of art.

Cleo has amassed quite a portfolio of original work, which she is pleased to share with the Buncombe Street UMC Community. Cleo and Billy have 6 children and 13 grandchildren, who occupies her time when not pursuing her artistic endeavors. Incidentally, Cleo is the aunt of Buncombe Street members, Jim and Krista Bannister.

The Fall 2021 Art Show is sponsored by the Music and Arts Ministry of the Traditional Worship Committee. All pieces are available to purchase through February 2022. Learn more about the Shell Gallery.
