In Loving Memory: Rev. Dr. Justin Meakin Gilreath

Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the passing of our beloved Senior Pastor, Reverend Dr. Justin Meakin Gilreath. His leadership, compassion, and unwavering faith touched countless lives, leaving a legacy of love and service. His love for the church and his dedication to sharing the gospel were unwavering.

Justin was not afraid to use chainsaws, cattle troughs or tractors during sermons. He connected with youth and elderly alike. He was adept at both castrating cattle and making ponytails look beautiful on his daughters. There wasn’t a fence made that he couldn’t mend. He was once almost late to a service because he was digging a cow out of the mud. But mostly, he loved his wife and daughters. Justin was the glue that held his friends together, making everyone feel special and valued. He was an encourager, a shepherd, and a leader who loved unconditionally. Read his full obituary here.

We invite you to join us in remembering and celebrating his remarkable life. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 22 at 2:00 PM in Sisk Hall.

The service will be livestreamed on this page and on our YouTube channel.

“So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.” John 16:22
